About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Processor to join our team at Farm Credit Services. As a Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in the preparation and processing of Farm Credit loans from application through closing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Loan/Lease Processing
  • Review and evaluate loan applications and documentation for eligibility, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Monitor the credit delivery process, including AgScore evaluations and credit bureau report information.
  • Reconcile fraud alerts, OFAC alerts, and name and SSN discrepancies in accordance with program requirements.
  • Perform administrative and clerical functions involved in the processing of FCE applications.
Loan/Lease Documentation
  • Prepare all loan/lease/legal documents necessary for closing.
  • Monitor dealership invoices for accuracy.
  • Conduct pre-closing reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of loan/lease packages.
  • Perform administrative and clerical functions involved in the processing of FCE document packages.
Loan/Lease Closing
  • Ensure all conditions are met and required insurance and collateral are in place at closing.
  • Process loan and commission checks, and GL entries for accurate booking of FCE loans/leases.
  • Verify proper lien position acquisition.
  • Conduct post-closing reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of closed packages.
  • Set up follow-up steps to obtain original signed loan/lease documents.
  • Ensure associations receive closed packages and original collateral documents within 5 business days of closing.
  • Conduct next-day reviews of completed work for quality and compliance measures.
  • Perform administrative and clerical functions involved in the closing of FCE loans/leases.
Customer Service
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to existing and potential members, dealerships, and salespeople.
  • Offer information on programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Consult with dealership staff to acquire and coordinate required information and documentation for FCE applications.
Documenting the Transaction
  • Ensure application notes are recorded timely within the FCE portal and accurately provide a descriptive and complete accounting of the transaction for all parties involved.
  • Meet target turnaround times.
  • Ensure workflows and follow-ups are maintained daily to ensure all work is in process by close of business each day.
  • Provide support to processing team members as needed to ensure prompt customer service according to policies and procedures.
