Key Responsibilities- Application Assessment: Conduct in-depth investigations of our current application landscape to identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Security Control Evaluation: Collaborate with the project team to assess the adequacy of existing security controls for each application and recommend necessary enhancements.
- Remediation Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive remediation plans that address identified security gaps and align with our cyber security objectives.
- Data Recording and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of assessment findings, remediation strategies, and progress reports to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and security experts.
- Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security capability improvement initiatives in line with recommended frameworks.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a Cyber Security or IT environment.
- Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks (e.g., Essential 8), and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
