Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Melbourne as a Grounds Maintenance Worker.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To undertake all aspects of grounds maintenance including landscaping, gardening and site clean up.
  • Using various tools and equipment, follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Undertake tasks such as watering plants, mulching gardens, spreading soil, planting trees and flowers, preparing garden beds, and other related duties.

Requirements:

  • A valid Construction White Card.
  • A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites.
  • Good physical health and stamina to work outdoors for extended periods with minimal breaks.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to get hands dirty.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
  • Prior experience in labouring, landscaping or a related field is highly desirable.
  • A qualification in horticulture or landscaping is advantageous but not essential.
  • Two referees from previous employers.
