Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our sales team. As a Waterworks Sales and Operations Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience and learn the business from the ground up.

The role involves working in various aspects of the business, including Warehouse, Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Operations. You will participate in interactive training, workshops, and mentorship to build confidence and skills in sales.

You will also have the opportunity to enhance your expertise through online and hands-on learning designed to accelerate your development. Your focus will be on mastering the sales process, expanding product knowledge, developing leadership potential, and aligning growth with business goals.

This is a dynamic 15-month Waterworks Development Program, designed to equip you with essential skills, knowledge, and confidence for a successful career in sales and operations.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with top-performing sales professionals and subject matter experts who will support your journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in relevant fields such as Civil Engineering, Business (Supply Chain, Commerce, Marketing), Trades (Plumbing, HVAC, Construction), Humanities (Psychology, Sociology)
  • A willingness to relocate if necessary
  • A commitment to continuous learning and success
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ambition for long-term career growth
  • Sales experience, such as retail or wholesale, considered an asset
  • Second language skills are an asset but not required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
