Operator - Health Services - Silverwater

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Operator to join our team at our Silverwater site. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating plant and equipment to treat medical waste, while maintaining a high level of safety and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate plant and equipment to treat medical waste
- Maintain a high level of safety and housekeeping standards
- Sort and load/unload medical waste collected from our customers
- Transfer waste from collection containers, both large and small
- Availability for shifts commencing at 2pm in Silverwater
- Open to completing some overtime when required
- Ability to work as part of a team, but also independently
- Experience handling waste from medical facilities
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- RF gun and Excel experience an advantage
- Willingness to undergo a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History Check
