The role of a Child Welfare Specialist involves supporting vulnerable individuals and families within their communities. This position requires dedication, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver statutory child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework and case management in accordance with legislation and best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams based in Child Safety Service Centres serving specific geographic areas across Queensland.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and right to live and work in Australia.
- Excellent communication, written and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.
