Job Description

The Southern Queensland Region is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the efficient delivery of its infrastructure projects. As a Strategic Communications Advisor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating community engagement and stakeholder relations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing communication strategies for infrastructure projects, including researching and writing project materials, media releases, and reports.
  • Providing strategic communications advice to project directors, managers, and other staff on community engagement, issues management, risk assessment, and communication strategies.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local, state, and federal government officers, key industry stakeholders, local business, and the general community.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Successful applicants will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. They will also be proficient in using relevant software applications and tools for communication and project management.
