We are a leading provider of aged care services in Victoria, seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated staff member to join our food services team as a Culinary Care Associate.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering catering needs that meet the nutritional and hydration requirements of our residents. Your focus will be on preparing and serving high-quality meals, with a strong emphasis on presentation and individual requirements.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team and under minimum supervision. Flexibility is also essential, as you will be required to work across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook basic meals, ensuring awareness of special dietary needs
  • Present and serve food and refreshments in an appealing manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards completion
  • Previous experience working in a food services environment, preferably in aged care
  • Patient, common-sense approach with a strong ethos of client service
