**Job Title:** Clinical Lead for Diabetes and Endocrinology
**Role Overview:** We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled endocrinologist to lead our diabetes and endocrinology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, overseeing clinical governance, workforce development, and service improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Strategic Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Clinical Governance: Oversee the management of inpatients, facilitating timely admissions, discharges, and follow-up in collaboration with key hospital departments and external partners.
- Workforce Development: Lead the development and implementation of training programs to ensure staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Service Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of services.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Fellowship with RACP and approved for the endocrinology scope of practice at Western Health.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Specialist.
