Mackay Hospital and Health Service is seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist Specialist to join their team at the Mackay Base Hospital. As a key member of the Cardiac Services Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.

About the Department

The Cardiac Services Department at Mackay Base Hospital is a dynamic and expanding team that provides a wide range of cardiology services to the local population. The department is accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) for cardiology advanced training status and offers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including Echo, TOE with 3D capacity, stress echo, Dobutamine, CTCA, Cardiac MRI, coronary intervention, and pacing device implantation.

About the Position

This is a permanent full-time position that offers a total remuneration value of up to $514,452 (L27), comprised of a salary between $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27) and other benefits, including 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, 17.5% leave loading, and generous salary sacrificing opportunities.
