Opportunity for an Apprentice Spray Painter

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Spray Painter at Gemini Burleigh Heads.

As an Apprentice Spray Painter, you will be supported by our skilled team and acquire the knowledge of an automotive workshop and begin learning the step-by-step process of prepping, mixing, and refinishing of automotive spray painting.

This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for career development and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Colour match vehicle
  • Prep vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Prime vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Buff and denib vehicle as per Job Sheet
  • Upon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet.

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in the Automotive industry
  • Good attitude and willing to learn
  • Reliable and good attention to detail
