Liability Claims Specialist

Managing a complex portfolio of claims arising from Public and Product Liability policies is crucial for this role. You will make policy coverage decisions, assess allegations of negligence to determine liability, and negotiate quantum within a delegated authority.
Ensuring a high standard of service is maintained for internal and external customers while building a network of professional relationships is also essential. Continuous communication with stakeholders to report on claim developments, trends, and potential large losses is necessary.
Active communication and negotiation with panel solicitors, loss adjusters, and service providers to reach the best possible outcome for all stakeholders involved is also required.
Attending and advocating at Tribunal Hearings, Informal Settlement Conferences, and Mediations under the guidance of senior staff is a key responsibility.
