Job Description

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in reliability and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

You will work closely with our maintenance and operations teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our facilities.

  1. Analysis of reciprocating and turbo compressor performance and health will be an essential part of your tasks.
  2. You will also provide guidance and technical advice to the maintenance and operations departments.
  3. Repair scoping, technical guidance and identification of improvements for equipment breakdowns and during maintenance interventions are other key responsibilities.
  4. Liaising with global original equipment manufacturers and engineering consultants will also be part of your daily tasks.
  5. Oil refining processes and how mechanical equipment contributes to safe and reliable operation will be another area of focus.
  6. Heavy industry maintenance, safety systems, management of change and reduction of down time methods in general will also be part of your responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or hold permanent residency.
  • Completed the relevant undergraduate or post-graduate degree in the required discipline (within the past 2 years) prior to commencing the program.
