Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Specimen Collector to join our team.

As a casual specimen collector, you will be responsible for performing workplace drugs of abuse testing, maintaining the chain of custody of specimens, and organising transportation to laboratories.

This is a rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and high level of organisation and time management skills.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience and training in the health sector, handling biological specimens and/or workplace safety.

You will need to be available 24/7 due to the nature of our work, with no guarantee of regular hours. Possession of a smartphone, current driver's licence and reliable vehicle is essential.

Covid-19 vaccination is a condition of employment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform workplace drugs of abuse testing
  2. Maintain the chain of custody of specimens
  3. Organise transportation to laboratories
  4. Work autonomously and follow processes
  5. Solve problems logically and communicate effectively
  6. Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues and conflict
  7. Operate technology effectively and maintain privacy and confidentiality
  8. Work in a timely manner
