Job Opportunity

Gain practical skills in fabrication and welding activities by pursuing an apprenticeship.

This opportunity is open to school leavers, mature age applicants, and those who have already commenced their Certificate III in Engineering.

Apprenticeships cover theoretical and practical requirements, providing four years of experience and formal qualifications after completion.

The program aims to grow a skilled workforce capacity, developing future leaders through employment opportunities and professional development experiences.

About the Role

Contribute positively to the delivery of objectives by gaining hands-on experience in fabrication and welding.

Work towards obtaining a Certificate III in Engineering while being employed full-time.

Develop leadership skills through on-the-job training, compulsory course costs paid by Council, approved leave to attend TAFE, tool allowance, and more.

Requirements
  • Must be eligible for a Certificate III in Engineering
  • Ability to work 38 hours per week with access to a 9 Day-fortnight roster
