Our Employability Skills Training and Career Transition Assistance programs provide essential job finding skills to Australian Job seekers.
As an Employability Skills Trainer & Facilitator, you will be delivering a targeted course designed to help a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds.
Supported by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, the programs are key drivers in the Federal Government's initiative to assist Australians whether they are looking to enter or re-enter the workforce or are looking at transitioning into a new career.
Your role as a Trainer & Facilitator is to ensure that our Participants are building on their employability skills and gaining the motivation and career guidance necessary to secure employment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver training and assessment in a diverse range of environments including classroom, workplace, and online
- Facilitate the delivery of training to small groups of adult learners using the provided course structure and materials in line with the requirements of the relevant contractual requirements
- Contextualizing and tailoring training to best suit the Participant's learning needs
- Assessing Participant competency levels and compiling feedback reports for Participants
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly and engage well with a diverse range of individuals and groups
- Experience delivering training, whether it be as a teacher, coach, or mentor
- Have a Working with Children's Check and National Police Check clearance (essential)
We are estimating that the salary for this position is around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
The successful candidate will be a part of our Talent Pool, must be available to commit to Training Blocks that run on a 3 consecutive week schedule, and is willing to travel to different sites.
