High Voltage Lineworker

The HumeLink West project requires skilled Assembly & Erection Lineworkers to work on a high voltage electricity transmission project.
This project connects Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW by delivering new 500kV double circuit transmission lines.
- Steel will be laid out into suitable locations for assembly.
- Bolts and steel members will be installed according to specifications.
- Inspectors will check steel for defects and identify/report them.
- Lifting equipment such as hooks &/or attachments will be checked routinely.
- Bolt management and tightening process understanding is required.
- Load masses calculation, assessment of lifting points & slinging requirements are crucial tasks.
- Lift plans for works must be read and understood.
To be successful, you should have experience working on Transmission lines. You must also hold Construction White Card, Work at Heights, EWP, Dogging and Rigging licence, High risk work licence, and First Aid and CPR Trained.
