Pathology Collector Job Description

The role of a pathology collector involves providing exceptional patient care and a great experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work morning shifts between Monday and Saturday, 7.00-10.00am, in our Canberra clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collecting blood samples using appropriate equipment
  • Completing necessary paperwork and data entry for pathology tests
  • Performing blood collection procedures with minimal discomfort to the patient
  • Using daily treatment summaries or patient management software to identify requested tests
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the blood collection rooms

This position requires strong clinical skills and on-the-job experience. As a qualified pathology collector, you will also have excellent customer service skills and enjoy interacting with patients.
