We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Central Functions team, based in Adelaide – South Australia. As a Data Governance Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the clarification of business or customer needs through the investigation, analysis, review and documentation of requirements.
Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. This will enable business decisions, including assisting in developing proof-of-concepts.
You will also work with a wide range of technical and operationally diverse people across the business, influencing them to develop evidence-based solutions to business issues while maintaining key relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Work with a wide range of technical and operationally diverse people across the business.
- Support the ongoing data access cleanse by collaborating with stakeholders.
- Support linking the key datasets to HR Capabilities.
- Support linking data usage scenarios and personas with key datasets.
- Support developing a framework that provides an overview of the data available in core reports, dashboards and systems.
- Support understanding the data landscape by reviewing data reports, dashboards and systems.
- Support the creation of Process Workflows, Process maps, diagrams and documentation on data governance.
- Support stakeholder workshops hosting activities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrated expertise in all facets of business analysis. ITIL and/or BA certification is considered desirable. Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent is considered desirable. Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain a Baseline Clearance.
