Workplace Health and Safety Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Work Health and Safety (WHS) Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the business to support the delivery of a safe and healthy workplace that complies with all relevant WHS legislation.
The role involves facilitating the ongoing development, implementation, and monitoring of proactive WHS and Risk Management systems and processes. This includes providing hands-on support in developing, reviewing, and maintaining work health and safety processes.
The WHS Business Partner will also provide support with incident investigations, lead investigations for extreme and high-risk incidents, and promote WHS activities including hazard identification, risk control, accident reporting, and first aid.
Additionally, the successful candidate will manage workers' compensation and Return to Work (RTW) processes from claim lodgement to finalisation as CSI's Return to Work coordinator.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Formal qualifications in WHS and/or health-related field (minimum Certificate IV in Work, Health, and Safety or equivalent)
- Current National Police Clearance, NDIS clearance, and Working with Children Check
- A broad range of WHS experience including leading incident investigations, performing risk assessments, reporting, and audits
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, RTWSA processes, and regulations
