We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Coordinator to join our team at C&K Coorparoo Kindergarten. As a coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our children by leading and guiding their learning and development.



You will work closely with our Kindergarten with Extended Hours Educator to create a safe, supportive, and engaging play-based learning environment that fosters curiosity, capability, and confidence in our children.



With a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and holding or actively working towards an ACECQA Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, you will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families, and the community.



In this role, you will be rewarded with a competitive hourly wage rate of $34.71-$38.62, plus a retention bonus of $1250 paid twice yearly. Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and guide the learning and development of children in our care
  • Work collaboratively with our Kindergarten with Extended Hours Educator to create a play-based learning environment
  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote children's curiosity, capability, and confidence
  • Provide support and guidance to children, families, and colleagues to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our centre's policies and procedures


Requirements:


  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • ACECQA Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (highly desirable)
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one)
