Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Carpenter. The successful candidate will work on-site at a hospital in Adelaide, undertaking reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor modifications across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out carpentry tasks within specified timeframes and quality standards, based on drawings, templates, and instructions.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs, maintenance, and minor modifications in line with safety and compliance requirements.
  • Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely, and assist with non-mechanical maintenance and construction activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic documentation uploaded to systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the service delivery team to support smooth operations.
  • Complete tasks within time constraints, escalate issues as needed, and contribute to safety culture and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent).
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Current White Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Demonstrated experience in carpentry maintenance and new works, ideally in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks within time constraints.
  • Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
