Customer Service Professional for Trade Counter

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Professional to join our Trade Counter team in Griffith. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, supporting the trade with top-quality products and expert advice.
As a Customer Service Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
You will work closely with our trade customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in customer service, sales, and product knowledge. You will also contribute to the success of our Trade Counter team by achieving sales targets, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with trade customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Achieve sales targets, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and promote our products and services.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and strategies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a trade environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
- A clean, valid driver's license and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends.
