AEIOU Foundation is a leading provider of early intervention services for children with autism. We are currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team at our Toowoomba centre.

Role Overview

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers a strong remuneration package and salary packaging provisions up to $15,900 annually, as well as a regional salary allowance applicable.

About the Position

The Occupational Therapist will operate within an early learning framework, providing specialist therapy support for children with autism spectrum disorder, their families, and carers. The successful candidate will be working within a team, contributing to Individual Plans to support children to develop play, social, motor, and self-help skills.

The Occupational Therapist will also provide training and supervision to team members in their area of expertise. This role requires a passion for working with children, energy, zeal, patience, and kindness.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work collaboratively with team members, families, and external providers to provide specialist therapy support for children with autism spectrum disorder
  • To contribute to Individual Plans to support children to develop play, social, motor, and self-help skills
  • To provide training and supervision to team members in their area of expertise
