Sales Planning and Analysis Expert

About the Role:
The FP&A Specialist will focus on sales planning and drivers influencing gross margin calculations. This role will work closely with the Director FP&A to optimize financial processes, ensure timely financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights and in-depth analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the regional APAC strategy for FP&A function optimization.
- Collaborate with Planning & Allocations team to effectively manage location sales planning for APAC.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Support audit requirements, including SOX compliance.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting Dashboards.
- Contribute to month end process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Foot Locker Accounting policies and US GAAP requirements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports.
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze sales performance across locations, identifying trends, outliers, and correlations with product categories.
- Leverage predictive analytics to forecast sales by location, considering historical sales data, economic trends, and local market conditions.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2-3 years related work experience (ideally in retail environment).
- Creative problem-solving skills, partnership/collaboration skills, and effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, MarketMax or equivalent financial planning tool a plus.
