About the Role

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-quality software operations code using Python.

You will work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel, networking, storage, to applications, and develop rigorous thinking about application and infrastructure reliability.

You will shape robust open-source monitoring and alerting infrastructure, simplify open-source operations for our customers and community, and demonstrate sound engineering design and testing principles in your code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in Python to design and deliver high-quality software operations code
  • Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel, networking, storage, to applications
  • Develop rigorous thinking about application and infrastructure reliability
  • Shape robust open-source monitoring and alerting infrastructure
  • Simplify open-source operations for our customers and community
  • Demonstrate sound engineering design and testing principles in your code
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, STEM, or similar field
  • Experience with Linux systems administration, package management, and operations
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong Python development skills
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
