Job Opportunity

Cyber Security Analysts are needed to protect organizations worldwide by detecting and responding to incidents in real time for our customers through a virtual security operations center.

This role involves exercising incident handling processes across various platforms, performing basic malware analysis, developing and improving processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures, and producing high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management.

Senior Analysts will also demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, presentations, and other public speaking events. They will manage internal programs or teams, mentor and support the development of more junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Handling: Exercise incident handling processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
  • Malware Analysis: Perform basic malware analysis to identify potential threats.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures.
  • Communication: Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customer management.
Senior Analyst Responsibilities
  • Thought Leadership: Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, presentations, and other public speaking events.
  • Team Management: Manage internal programs or teams.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support the development of more junior analysts.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in one or more of the following areas: SOC, Malware Analysis, Incident Response; ability to conduct or manage incident response; knowledge of targeted threats.
  • Background: Background in computer forensics, systems administration, network forensics, malware analysis, incident remediation, and secure network architecture.
  • Programming Skills: Programming/scripting experience (C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, .NET).
  • Emerging Technologies: Understanding of emerging technologies, including AI/ML in cybersecurity; prior Falcon experience is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem solving, time management, and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences; education in relevant fields or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix; passion for cybersecurity; positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Mentorship Skills: Ability to mentor and help develop others; strong verbal and written communication skills.
