Quality, Environment and Sustainability Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Quality, Environment and Sustainability Advisor. This role is crucial in ensuring that our business practices align with the highest standards of quality, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.

Job Description:

  • To reduce consumption of materials, resources, and overheads.
  • To decrease waste by recycling and partnering with local councils.
  • Improve environmental efficiency and safety.
  • Investigate relevant Australian legislation.
  • Labor efficiency improvement.
  • Product quality enhancement.
  • Safety improvement through physical environment enhancements.
  • Enhance environmental sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.

This role involves spending 1-2 days per week on standards, with the remaining time split between the shop floor and office.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Degree/Diploma in a relevant field is essential.
  • Able to enforce quality requirements independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to identify quality issues.
  • Knowledge of environmental controls and waste management.
