About Queensland Bulk Terminals

We are one of Australia's state-of-the-art and most efficient export terminals, with a bulk storage and handling facility capable of sampling, testing, receiving, storing, packing and shipping a range of grains and liquids. Our facilities include over 85,000 metric tons of bulk grain storage, over 10,000 metric tons of bulk liquid storage, two all-weather grain receiving stations, a container packing facility and a ship loader.

Our terminal has shipped to over 20 countries and regions servicing Asia, the Pacific, South Africa and the Subcontinent since commencing operations in 2011.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our Murarrie site. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day terminal operations, overseeing staff, and operational administration.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Overseeing daily activities in the terminal, including managing safety, quality and environmental issues
- Rostering and scheduling
- Managing up to 15 staff
- Training and development of staff
- Management of KPIs
- Management of terminal administration and documentation

**Requirements for Success:**

- At least 3 years of leadership/supervisory experience
- Related industry experience (preferably within manual labor/trade environments)
- Ability to build quality relationships at all levels
- Effective verbal, written & computer-based communication skills (Inc: Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to a team environment
