Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Disability Support Specialist to provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, empowering them to live independently and comfortably.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, committed, and empathetic, with a genuine interest in helping others. A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is required, as well as experience in personal care and community activities.

This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and support clients in everyday tasks. In return, you will receive training and development opportunities, flexible working hours, and access to a network of like-minded professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to clients with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living tasks and personal care
  • Encourage social participation and community engagement
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Experience in personal care and community activities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • National Driver License and own, reliable vehicle
  • Valid NDIS screening check clearance
  • Current First Aid Certificate
