Job Title:

Staff Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a challenging role that requires strong clinical expertise and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive specialist medical management of HIV, sexually transmitted infections and blood borne viruses within the Mid North Coast Local Health District portion of the North Coast Population and Public Health (NCPPH) Directorate.
  • Provide clinical support and guidance for NCPPH staff and other health care workers in relation to management of HIV, sexually transmitted infections and blood borne viruses.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, counsellors and support staff, and provide clinical supervision for nursing staff and junior medical staff.
Requirements:
  • Category A position.
  • Compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.
  • Agreement to comply with the requirements outlined under the General questions section at Occupational assessment screening and vaccination.
