Job Description

A skilled and experienced bricklayer is required to join our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting building plans, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, laying bricks and creating structures using various materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and interpreting building plans
  • Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding
  • Laying bricks in rows, designs and shapes, and spreading mortar between joints
  • Embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar
  • Strengthening and sealing foundations with the appropriate material
  • Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement
  • Repairing building blocks
  • Understanding and managing the quantities of material required for the job
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III/IV in Bricklaying or equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant experience
