Traffic Management Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role will have expertise in traffic management planning and implementation, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of people and goods.
This is a key position within our organization, working closely with various stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with heavy vehicle travel permit applications.
We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills, capable of assessing complex traffic scenarios and developing effective solutions. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate local traffic committee meetings and ensure alignment with Council's transport vision.
- Develop and implement traffic management plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with developers to review traffic management plans and provide feedback.
A degree in engineering or a related field, with extensive technical knowledge in transportation planning and design.
Demonstrated experience in traffic management, with a strong understanding of CAD software and relevant legislation.
A Class C driver's license is required, with a proven track record of safe driving practices.
Remuneration:This role offers a competitive salary package based on Grade 14 of our Salary System Protocol.
The base salary ranges from $112,708 to $126,782 per annum, with additional allowances and superannuation.
