VIC Sales and Guest Experience Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Guest Experience Coordinator to join our team at Mill Park Leisure Centre.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, experience in sales and customer-facing environments, and the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop frontline staff to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Meet new member and growth targets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Provide exceptional guest experience in person and over the phone to existing and prospective members and guests
  • Assist in lead generation through digital and traditional marketing activities
  • Conduct tours of the centre/facility as necessary with the outcome to turn a prospective member/guest to an ongoing member of the facility
  • Set rosters in line with business needs
  • Attend and participate in centre senior leadership meetings and projects
  • Compile and present monthly reports
Requirements
  • Experience in sales and customer-facing environments
  • Leadership experience in the health, fitness, leisure or recreation industries
  • A solid understanding of business needs and processes as pertaining to KPIs and service standards
  • Ability to motivate teams to reach targets
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Experience in using social media platforms
  • Flexibility to work days/evenings and weekends
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Experience in team leadership, training and development
