Job Description

This role will manage the delivery of sustainability and climate-related financial reporting projects within the Sustainability team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainability consulting, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and clients.

Key responsibilities include advising clients on value-creating and bespoke sustainability and climate-related financial reporting solutions, scoping engagements for voluntary and mandatory reporting assessments, and leading multiple teams across various disciplines.

  • Advise clients on sustainability opportunities and challenges.
  • Scope engagements for voluntary and mandatory reporting assessments.
  • Types of engagements may include evaluating appropriateness of sustainability reporting frameworks, gap assessments, report preparation, and pre-assurance.
  • Lead multiple teams across various disciplines and review and approve their output.
  • Liaise with client senior management, C-Suite, and Boards to ensure engagement objectives are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A tertiary qualification in a related discipline or CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Strong sustainability consulting experience across multiple sectors and engagement types gained within leading professional services firms.
  • Excellent project management, presentation, facilitation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of sustainability-related reporting solutions for clients in response to reporting challenges (TCFD, IFRS S2).
