Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrification Expert Advisor to join our Medium Voltage Systems team in Bayswater, VIC offices, reporting to the General Manager Systems. This role will be both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the sales organization in approaching potential customers and providing advice on how to use Siemens' offerings effectively.
• Serve as an expert in product application and commissioning, particularly with respect to assigned organizational units.
• Analyze customer portfolios to understand client goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and management to explore integration options for Siemens' products and provide strategic recommendations.
• Create technical and commercial concepts to support sales processes.
• Plan and complete consulting assignments for industry partners on technical and commercial levels.
• Take responsibility for new orders or consulting projects.
• Initiate expert teams and facilitate team activities.
• Support contract negotiations with information and analyses.
• Identify and develop business opportunities and innovate consulting portfolios.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar business development/technical sales function.
• Knowledge and experience with Medium Voltage (GIS & AIS) technology, LV Switchgears, and Busways.
• Tertiary degree in Electrical engineering.
• Advanced understanding of Quality, Safety, and Environment requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant Australian and International Design and Electrical standards.

Compensation Package:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
