Radiographer, Medical Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
The State of Queensland is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our Medical Imaging Services team. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical imaging services to patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver competent medical imaging services, applying clinical knowledge and expertise to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care, adhering to professional and ethical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, developing and implementing clinical practices, procedures, and protocols.
- Contribute to the development of clinical expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
