Logistics Care Specialist Role Overview

The Logistics Care Specialist is responsible for proactively resolving customer complaints related to logistics, providing visibility on backorders, and timely managing customer returns across the Order To Payment journey.


This role is ideal for candidates eager to develop their career in Logistics & Supply Chain Operations.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve customer care notifications and feedback related to logistics to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Process Returns and collaborate with the Warehouse team for timely completion of activities.
  • Utilize systems to record actions taken and characteristics of orders identified as potential failures.
  • Communicate effectively on back-order management.
  • Support Account Managers with Logistics-related inquiries.
  • Develop strong partnerships with materials management/transportation/warehouse teams.
  • Establish trust with field sales to increase Account Manager productivity and reduce inbound calls from field.
  • Handle emails in a timely manner.
  • Provide support for training new team members.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP systems advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Functional knowledge of logistics processes.
  • Solid knowledge of related business processes (i.e. Product Portfolio Management).
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple responsibilities and make decisions.
