The Role

We are looking for sales professionals eager to advance their careers. Successful candidates will possess the capability and motivation to represent our business team as Account Managers. In this role, you will serve as the liaison between the customer and the JB Hi-Fi group, effectively advocating for the customer to ensure optimal outcomes. This position is multifaceted and fast-paced, ideal for individuals who are entrepreneurial in their approach to achieving sales targets, creative in business development, and innovative in solution selling.

Initially starting as an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will receive comprehensive training, including onboarding, accurate quoting, smooth ordering, and effective stock management through our extensive supplier network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to acquire new business, utilizing innovative methods to highlight the value proposition of JB Hi-Fi Business.
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with prospects and dormant customers to identify pain points and needs, positioning JB Hi-Fi Business products and services accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support teams, seeking opportunities to leverage internal resources to meet customer demands.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial engagement to solution delivery.
  • Create strategies for long-term revenue growth and retention activities to maintain customer spending.
  • Take ownership of annual revenue and gross profit targets while meeting metrics on portfolio growth and new customer acquisition.
  • Actively engage with customers weekly and conduct quarterly business reviews with larger spending clients, as customer interaction is crucial for success.

About You

You will excel in building long-lasting relationships with potential new customers while effectively increasing share-of-wallet for optimal returns over time.

You will also possess:

  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • A proven track record of meeting sales quotas and managing strategic pursuits.
  • Experience in engaging and onboarding new customers.
  • A history of growing sales revenue and profitability across customer accounts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Familiarity with technology across IT hardware, software, and services is advantageous.
  • Experience with Salesforce is beneficial.
