About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Redlands and Scenic Rim. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance and repairs on heavy rigid vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive hourly rate of $47+ plus super. You will enjoy a stable work environment, with a 5-day week, Monday to Friday, and an 8am start time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on heavy rigid vehicles, including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair processes
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting safety and quality requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles
  • Australian recognised Trade Qualified
  • HR licence
  • Understanding of NHVR Requirements
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety compliance and customer service
  • Exceptional eye for detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
