Job Title:

Grounds and Maintenance Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Maintenance professional to join our team.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the village grounds, interior, and building surrounds in a neat, clean, tidy and presentable condition.
  • Perform gardening duties including mowing of all lawns, and ensuring edges and hedges are trimmed appropriately.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of outside areas/pool areas.
  • Assist with general maintenance of the property, general care and securing of equipment.
  • Report on any hazards or security breaches to the Village Manager.
  • Maintain the village's relevant equipment and supplies and arrange replacement when necessary.
  • Perform driving duties of company vehicles including courier and delivery duties (as required).
Your Requirements:
  • Certificate III or equivalent experience in a related area and/or A trade Qualification in the building industry e.g. Carpentry/building (desirable)
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in undertaking gardening duties and the maintenance of the grounds.
  • Ability to empathise with disadvantaged and/or older persons.
  • Experience in stock management.
  • Good computer and mobile device skills.
