As a Utilities Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading site operations in utilities and groundworks projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily activities and supervise teams involved in water, cabling, and general utility works.
- Conduct on-site risk assessments and implement safety provisions to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure all personnel follow safety protocols and guidelines to avoid injury or harm.
- Supervise the use and maintenance of tools and equipment to maintain their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure safe working practices near buried utilities and in variable weather and ground conditions.
- Prioritize the safety of pedestrians and take into account the needs of disabled individuals when planning work activities.
- Implement strategies to minimize the impact of our activities on the environment and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Hold a CSCS card.
- Demonstrate proven experience in utilities and groundworks.
- Have a strong background in water or cabling works.
- Proven track record of leading site teams as a foreman or ganger.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety procedures and regulations.
