    • Lead and execute data cleansing initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
    • Identify and rectify data quality issues, including duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies.
    • Develop and implement data cleansing strategies and best practices.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for data cleansing based on target state requirements.
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data cleansing and migration.
  • Data Migration:
    • Plan and oversee the data quality during data migration activities
    • Coordinate with IT and business departments to ensure successful data migration.
    • Validate and verify migrated data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate effectively with finance and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide regular updates on project progress.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on data management best practices.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data cleansing and migration processes.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to monitor data quality and project status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data cleansing, data migration, or a related role within a finance environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics365, FinOps D365 FO, Ax, SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
