We are seeking a professional to lead the preparation of high-quality technical documentation and written materials. This role requires working with internal and external stakeholders to consult, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.

The selected candidate will support various functional areas by developing high-quality written materials that inform the implementation of new functions and services responding to stakeholder needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing high-quality technical documentation and other written materials
  • Supporting implementation projects, functions, or services across Austroads by developing high-quality written materials
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Synthesizing information from multiple sources to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Maintaining consistency and alignment with other relevant documents and quality systems
  • Delivering other documentation and content management tasks as directed
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, identifying ways to enhance value for stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in technical communication, with a minimum of five years practical experience
  • Experience in project management and/or corporate content management
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience in technical editing
  • Demonstrated high degree of technical communication skills and attention-to-detail towards accuracy
  • Expertise in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio

The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously, and a collaborative mindset. They should be patient, diplomatic, persistent, and a self-starter with well-developed relationship management skills.
