Adult Swim Coach Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced adult swim coach to join our team. As an Adult Swim Coach, you will be responsible for coaching adults of all experience levels, from nervous first-timers to advanced swimmers refining technique.

Your role will involve delivering boutique, tailored sessions that prioritise safety, confidence and measurable improvement. You will work with clients to set and achieve goals, develop individualised training plans and provide technical feedback to accelerate progress.

Responsibilities
  • Coach adults of all experience levels in a supportive and motivating environment
  • Develop and deliver tailored training programs to meet the needs of individual clients
  • Provide technical feedback and guidance to help clients improve their technique
  • Manage client progress and make adjustments to training plans as needed
Requirements
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety qualification
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Adults qualification
  • AUSTSWIM Towards Competitive Strokes or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Competitive Strokes (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
  • ASCTA Coaching Accreditation (Development or higher) or Swim Australia equivalent
  • Current First Aid certification (HLTAID011 or equivalent)
  • Current CPR certification (HLTAID009 or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years' experience in adult swimming coaching or teaching
  • Sydney-based for early starts and flexible shifts
  • Own car preferred
Work Environment

You will be working at one of our pools in Sydney, Prince Alfred Park Pool or Victoria Park Pool. Our rosters are managed using a digital system, allowing for easy communication and organisation.

We offer a casual rate commensurate with qualifications and experience, paid under the Fitness Industry Award (MA000094).
