We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Program Officer to join our team at Dixon Appointments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs designed to support Victoria's diverse communities.

The Grants Program Officer will play a crucial role in implementing and overseeing various initiatives, including support programs for seniors, media grants, and other efforts focused on assisting emerging and priority communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with complex, high-volume community grant programs, including application assessment, funding agreement management, and outcome reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records in Grants 360 and follow the department's grants management framework.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and departmental record-keeping, information security, and privacy policies.
  • Provide advice to stakeholders on multicultural grant programs, adhering to best practices in engagement and management.
  • Collaborate within a dynamic team to manage and deliver grant programs effectively.
  • Identify opportunities and risks, contributing to program improvement.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.

About You:

  • Project Management: Supports program delivery, solves problems, and adjusts actions as needed.
  • Written Communication: Prepares clear, concise briefs, letters, and reports.
  • Problem-Solving: Gathers information, analyzes issues, and proposes solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Understands stakeholders, tailors communication, builds trust, and collaborates effectively.

Requirements:

  • National Police Check
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
