Job Title

A successful Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our on-site construction staff, including subcontractors and their various disciplines.

  • Ensuring a safe working environment by driving company safety policies, practices, and procedures in compliance with OHS legislative requirements.
  • Organizing and sequencing on-site activities on a daily and weekly basis, ensuring subcontractors have access to their work face for materials and equipment.
  • Reporting site activities that may result in delays, safety issues, or industrial unrest, and taking necessary action to prevent problems.
  • Collaborating with the Site Manager and Project Manager to allocate site staff and resources effectively.
  • Reviewing and revising the construction programme as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
  • Implementing and enforcing the Company's policies and practices on quality assurance, safety, and industrial relations at the work face.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or diploma in building/construction, or other recognized tertiary or trade qualification in a construction-related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
