About the Position:
This role requires an experienced clinician to deliver high-quality, patient-centered mental health services. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions, as well as contributing to community development initiatives. A key focus of this position is to empower patients to achieve their goals and promote a sense of self-determination.
Essential Criteria:
- A recognized qualification in social work and eligibility for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience demonstrating competencies at the AHP2 level.
- Ongoing professional development in line with AASW guidelines.
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage complex caseloads within a multidisciplinary context.
- Strong collaborative skills including the ability to advocate for patients and develop supportive networks.
- Knowledge of local resources ensuring patients have access to relevant services.
- Commitment to cultural safety and awareness particularly when working with Aboriginal communities.
