Acting Head of Cultural Inclusion Job Description

The Melbourne Catholic Schools are seeking an experienced Acting Head of Cultural Inclusion to develop and administer programs that create a positive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the English as an Additional Language (EAL) program across all year levels, 7-12.
  • Develop curriculum programs that foster inclusivity and diversity in the classroom.
  • Provide holistic support and case management for students with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with Learning Diversity Leaders to ensure culturally and linguistically diverse students receive adequate support.
About You:
  • Demonstrate expertise in contemporary teaching practices and Australian curriculum frameworks.
  • Be registered or have the ability to register with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to Catholic education and child safety.
