National Business Intelligence Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small group of analysts and business intelligence specialists to analyse cost, maintenance and industry data, with a focus on enhancing Australia's naval ship repair capability. The insights you develop will drive decision making at all levels across our ship repair governance system.

A moderate amount of travel is required as you will be working closely with Regional Maintenance Centres in QLD, NT and WA, as well as the one based in Garden Island, Sydney.

About Our Team

Our team is dedicated to supporting Regional Maintenance Centres by:

  • Leading development of network processes and systems
  • Standardising how we do business as a network
  • Analysing network performance to generate insights that drive improved decision making
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholder groups including industry and other government organisations

Our mission is to drive the development of an enduring sovereign maritime maintenance capability in Australia.

We are looking for a leader who not only has expertise in data analysis, but can also draw insightful conclusions about how to improve performance. This individual will need to be self-motivated with an inquisitive mind and able to communicate complex information effectively.

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate well in both written and verbal form, and have strong presentation skills. They will also need to be a team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
